The award-winning director Dan Reed will guest this year's Copenhagen TV Festival and talk about his documentary Leaving Neverland.

Dan Reed is both the director and producer of Leaving Neverland, which focuses on Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who allege they were sexually abused as children by the pop-icon Michael Jackson. Leaving Neverland premiered on Sundance Film Festival in January 2019 and has since been heavily debated - and both recognized and criticized.

Dan Reed is a BAFTA award-winning and Emmy-nominated filmmaker who has produced and directed documentaries for 27 years.

The award-winning director has focused on sexual abuse as a theme in the past. He also directed the double BAFTA Award-winning documentary The Paedophile Hunter (2014). Dan Reed is also behind the acclaimed BAFTA and Emmy-nominated documentary Terror at the Mall (2014), and his HBO documentary Three Days of Terror: The Charlie Hebdo Attacks (2016), was nominated for two Emmys and a BAFTA.

British Dan Reed is 54 years old and has worked as a producer and director on documentaries for Channel 4, BBC, HBO and PBS.
