Diêm Camille is an Ivorian-Danish self-taught actress, screenwriter, director, series creator and proud Jutlander. At the age of 10, Diêm dreamed of becoming an actress, but no one on screen looked like her. So she thought, "that must mean there's room for me, they just don't know it yet." She then worked her way up from extra to international actress in four years.

She is the creator and lead of the Robert-nominated DR series "Bad Bitch," the first Danish series with an Afro-Danish cast. Diêm is fighting to open doors for the next generation of underrepresented voices through her films and series, while also working as a mentor for The Soulfuls, and in her collaborations with Filmværkstederne, DR Ultra Serieskolen, the Netflix Series School and Et Større Billede. She is now a newly established international film director.
