Dorthe Thirstrup joined TV 2 in the spring of 2019 as a program editor, became Channel Manager after six months, and has served as Program Director for TV 2, TV 2 FRI, TV 2 CHARLIE, and TV 2 ECHO since May 2023.

Dorthe Thirstrup previously served as program director and was part of the management team at the production company Strong. Prior to that, she spent nearly five years at DR — most of that time as a factual and lifestyle editor at DR1, overseeing a large and very diverse program portfolio.

Dorthe Thirstrup is passionate about public service — including the development of programs that, through compelling personalities and storytelling, can spark meaningful debate on important issues.
