Jan Bacher Dirchsen is a factual and documentary producer at Bermuda Production. Over the course of his career, he has produced and directed a wide range of television programmes, including the landmark documentary series Årgang 0, which ran for 18 years.

He trained as a documentary filmmaker in England and the United States, and later qualified as a Gestalt and body-oriented therapist. He is the author of the textbook A Matter of Trust: Making Television with People, which was published in a newly updated edition in 2020.

Jan supervises television editorial teams, producers, and documentary directors, and teaches courses and leads workshops in Denmark and Norway on "the invisible part of the job"—the interpersonal and relational skills involved in making documentaries and factual television.
