Marianne Bjørn is Format Editor at TV 2 Acquisitions & Formats and is always on the lookout for new programme concepts that match TV 2's needs. Through TV Takeaways, Marianne draws on her knowledge from various TV markets and her international network. She also uses her broad overview and analytical eye in her daily work to equip TV 2's editors as well as possible to acquire the best concepts for TV 2.

Before joining TV 2, Marianne spent several years at Banijay Nordic, where she likewise worked with format acquisitions, Nordic collaboration and content strategy. Marianne holds a master's degree in Danish and Media Studies from the University of Copenhagen, where she specialised in youth TV and the reality genre. Last but not least, she is this year's chair of the Programme Committee 2025-2026.
