Shirin Aziz is a director, screenwriter and concept developer with a master's degree in media studies. She works with stories about identity, relationships and humor.

Shirin has worked with development and storytelling in film and TV and has experience creating character-driven stories with humor and warmth. She was co-developer and screenwriter on the DR Ultra series "Si'r det bar'" and has directed the short film "Hvordan Siger Man Coach På Kurdisk?" ("How Do You Say Coach in Kurdish?"), developed through Åben Årgang and Aarhus Filmværksted. She is currently working on the short film "You Do Realize I Can Just Move Back To My Mom's Right?", which explores the compromises that arise when two people create a home together for the first time.
