Zina Hameed is a trained journalist with extensive experience in visual storytelling – documentaries, talk shows, awards shows, entertainment programmes, and creating content for social media.

Throughout her career, Zina Hameed has specialised in the intersection of identity, culture, humour and our blind spots. She is passionate about challenging conventional storytelling formats and stereotypes – whether it's hard-hitting news or great storytelling.

With a versatile background, Zina has worked as both a producer and scriptwriter at Pineapple Entertainment (on formats such as Natholdet and the Zulu Awards) and as a co-host and producer on the Podimo podcast Anders & Anders. From 2023 to 2025, she was a driving force at TV2 Østjylland's 'Xor' editorial team, where she experimented with new social media formats aimed at young people from ethnic minorities. There, she mastered the difficult balance between engaging social media concepts, ethical sourcing and constant reflection on how we renew the way we tell stories – with particular focus on our own blind spots and breaking stereotypes. A shining example of Zina's uncompromising drive is the documentary 'Feel Free To Fuck Up' (TV2 PLAY, 2025). Long before she even began her journalism studies, she picked up a camera herself and started filming and directing the story with support from Aarhus Filmværksted. Alongside her studies, internships and full-time work, she stubbornly and independently carried the project through to completion over seven years, until it was finally produced by TV2 Østjylland.

Today, Zina works freelance, combining her experience in entertainment, journalism and close-up source encounters. She develops formats, gives talks on identity, culture and courage – and as a moderator, she steers the conversation with confidence, sharpness and plenty of personality.
