Producer Ji-Yeon Kim began her career in the film marketing business in 2000. For years, she managed Korean film marketing in the domestic field. After that, she worked on international sales, selling Korean films for worldwide distribution. As she built her expertise in the both domestic and international film business, she started producing movies as she set up her own production company in 2008. She and her company Siren Pictures.Inc is known for the award-winning Korean feature film entitled The Fortress,2017, and the Squid Game in 2021 which is the most-watched show in the history of television worldwide.
