Iben is an awardwinning novelist and screenwriter. She is co-creator of the DR series Oda Upside Down and has written several episodes of tv series, among them Those Who Kill and White Sands. In 2021 she made her literary debut with the thriller Damascus, which was followed last year by The Danish Agent. In 2025 she publishes her third spynovel about Danish secret agent Sigrid Melin. The film rights have been sold for a tv series with Iben as head writer.
