Executive Producer

Robert Greenblatt, Executive Producer of HBO’s glittery The Gilded Age, is a trailblazing television executive and award-winning producer. He ran four networks to record results: Chairman of WarnerMedia, where he oversaw HBO and the creation of HBO Max; Chairman of NBC, which was consistently #1 from 2011-2018; President of Showtime, which he transformed with global successes like Dexter, Shameless, Weeds, and Nurse Jackie; and head of programming at Fox Broadcasting, where he delivered seminal hits such as Beverly Hills, 90210, Melrose Place, The X-Files, and Ally McBeal. He is also known for reinvigorating the live musical genre on NBC with hits that included The Sound of Music Live!, Hairspray Live!, and the Emmy-winning Jesus Christ Superstar Live!, among others. His many producing awards include the Golden Globe for Six Feet Under (HBO) and he is the recipient of four Tony awards and two Oliviers for producing theatre. Most recently, he was the producer of the stage musical adaptation of Smash, partnered with Steven Spielberg, and he is overseeing a new production of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl starring Cynthia Erivo and Adam Lambert, and Ragtime at Lincoln Center in New York this fall.
