Dr Alex Connock is a leading voice on the intersection of media and artificial intelligence, with a career spanning both academia and the media industry. He is Senior Fellow at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School and Professor in Media and Artificial Intelligence at Exeter University.

As the author of several books on the evolving media landscape, including Media Management and Artificial Intelligence, Alex is widely recognised for his insight into how AI is reshaping the media business.

Before entering academia, he co-founded and led Ten Alps (now Zinc Media) as CEO alongside Bob Geldof, and later became Managing Director of Endemol Shine North (now Workerbee), producing content for major broadcasters such as the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4.
