Hugh is an Emmy-nominated and RTS award-winning documentary producer and director with more than twenty years of experience across a wide range of factual programmes for both the UK and international markets.

His credits include projects for Netflix, BBC, Apple TV+, ITV, Sky, CNN, National Geographic, History and Discovery+.

Recent standout titles include Alexander: The Making of a God (Netflix) and Titanic Sinks Tonight (BBC Two), both of which achieved major international success and critical acclaim.

Hugh specialises in access documentaries, retrospective documentaries, and drama documentaries, with extensive experience leading productions from development through post-production while managing large teams and multiple stakeholders.

A graduate of Sydney Film School, Hugh began his career writing and directing short films and high-end music videos. He has also directed powerful branded content for global brands including Converse, Nokia, and Warner Music.
