In 2020, she coined the term digital campfires in her Harvard Business Review essay The Era of Antisocial Social Media, which was later included in a special HBR collection featuring the publication’s most influential writing on the future of marketing.

Previously, she led lifestyle partnerships at Instagram, was a senior editor at The Huffington Post, and wrote for leading publications including The Economist and Los Angeles magazine. 

Sara regularly speaks on shifting audience consumption trends for companies including Shopify, Microsoft, and McKinsey & Company. Her work and insights have appeared in AdAge, MIT Sloan Management Review, The Drum, Adweek, Forbes, and Fast Company.
