With a background in project management, Maria Joelsson has worked in television production since 2001.

In 2008, Maria became Head of Production at Nordisk Film TV Sweden, a role she held for 15 years before being appointed Head of Operations Sweden in 2022. In January 2026, she took on the role of Nordic Director, Production Services IT & Hubs.

Alongside the global hit Love Is Blind, Maria has worked across a wide range of productions throughout her career, from large-scale studio entertainment shows such as The Voice and Beat the Host to factual entertainment including Klamphuggerne and Renovation Angels, as well as drama series and Christmas calenders for both children and adult audiences.
