Noralv Pedersen is the director and project manager of the Norwegian TV series Der ingen skulle tru at nokon kunne bu (Where no one would believe anyone could live). Pedersen is political geographer by education and has worked at NRK since 2003, the last decade with Where no one would believe anyone could live. Pedersen received the 2026 Gullruten («Golden Screen») Award for Best Direction and received a commended award at the Prix Circom in both 2026 and 2025. Pedersen has published several books, including on Norwegian peace policy and being a relative in elderly care.
