Victor has worked in television since starting as a 19-year-old production assistant in his native Denmark, followed by a position in Toronto as an unpaid intern on a true crime series for Investigation Discovery. He found his passion for unscripted development by interning his way across the North American television industry, eventually making it to New York City, where he still resides. Today he is a soup-to-nuts showrunner and format developer, turning fleeting thoughts into global TV shows.
Victor specializes in creating and producing survival, comedy, crime, strategic gameplay, dating, queer programming, live shows and anything with a plot twist. His credits include Alone: Frozen (History Channel), 90 Day Fiancé (TLC), Impractical Jokers: After Party (truTV), and the live police documentary series On Patrol: Live (Reelz). Originally from Denmark, with a strong tradition of public service television, Victor is driven by the idea that a great TV show should entertain, educate, empower the viewer and be highly addictive. Through his production label, Mad Skills Media Group, he develops formats with American and Scandinavian broadcasters, produces digital content for brands with uplifting ideas, and directs documentary projects. He holds an M.A. in Media Studies from The New School in Manhattan and studied at the Danish School of Media and Journalism and Ryerson School of Radio & Television. He is also a certified yoga teacher and a serious resident of Brooklyn.
